During the most recent business meeting, Shawn presented the MMT’s proposal for adopting specific people groups.  Please be in prayer for the proposed “Unreached” and “Last Frontier” people groups.  Pray that God would make clear to us what our involvement should be regarding these people groups.  Also, continue to remember the Ecuador Seminary partnership upon which we have already embarked.  Pray for the construction of the building and the work being led by Steve and Carol Thompson.

Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. (Hebrews 13:3, ESV)

Continue to pray for a Uighur Christian who has been imprisoned for a year and a half for “his Christian faith and witness among the Uighur people” in Northwest China.  Pray for this believer, his family, and the Uighur church as they await the result of his trial this week.  Ask God to strengthen the Uighur church in the midst of this persecution.
