Preschool

The preschool ministry, birth through four years old, is an integral part of Morningview Baptist Church. It is a cooperative effort between the church and the home utilizing the efforts of both the parents and the church body to effectively reach the children with the message of the love of Jesus Christ. The preschool ministry involves Sunday School, G321-Sunday Evening Discipleship, and worship care for infants through four year olds. During our Wednesday evening opportunities, preschoolers participate in our Awana Club for Cubbies. We believe that any time your child participates in any of these areas, learning and nurturing take place.

Believing that play is the work of children, much of our teaching is done through activities. We believe that the preschooler needs freedom to choose and to be creative. We also believe that the preschooler needs positive but firm guidance that will help him feel secure and accepted. Our curriculum and our teaching is age appropriate and biblically and educationally sound.

Our goal is for every child to experience God’s tender love each time he or she comes to church. Parents can have the comfort and confidence of knowing that loving, trustworthy, trained teachers and volunteers are carefully teaching and watching over their precious gift from God.
