Parents and or guardians must first come to the Ministry Center to complete our intake process. Those who qualify will be able to purchase donated toys at drastically reduced rates. $.50 cents for the least expensive up to $3.00 for the most expensive gift. We will also offer stocking stuffers at a rate of $.10 cents each.

Our Toy Store was created to help be a part of a healing process of the family unit. It helps restore dignity and self esteem of the parents while aiding the children in regaining respect for them. It also teaches priorities and sacrifice. I pray you will join us in making a difference in the lives of many.

Deadline to deliver toys to the Hands of Christ Ministry at 3000 Lower Wetumpka Rd. is Thursday December 8th. We are open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Our courses for children are Music, Missions, and Memory. We are asking that you consider a place of service in just one of these areas.  These courses are held on a rotating basis, allowing adults serving to choose a class and age to which they are particularly drawn for a ten week period.  It would be ideal to have a team of teachers for each course offered, Music, Missions, and Memory. We are seeking to provide a strategy by which adults can serve in G321 as well as learn in a MIT class.

G321 Missions – leading children to be involved in the spread of the Gospel locally and abroad by praying, giving and doing.

G321 Memory – leading children to learn sound biblical doctrines through memorization of the boys and girls catechism.

G321 Music – leading children in praise and worship of God through music.

and marketplace evangelism.  We will explore how to initiate encounters and witness to people in different vocations, religions, generations, and ethnic groups.

Day 1 ~ Fellowship with God

Read: Psalm 15, focus today on verses 1 & 2

Consider:

For Adults: What does it mean to dwell with God? How is your fellowship with Him? What are the standards that God requires?

Older children: Who is only person who ever was truly “blameless?” What does that mean?

Younger children: How does God feel about lying? How often should we speak “the truth?”

Family Application: Talk about what is means to fellowship with God and what God requires of a person to be in fellowship with them. Consider how the Gospel offers sinners a way to be “blameless” before God and how Jesus provides “blamelessness” to lose who repent and believe.

Pray: Pray through the first 2 verses of Psalm 15. Praise God that He has made a way for sinners to be “blameless” before Him through the work of Jesus. Ask God to deepen your fellowship with Him by leading you into Christ-likeness. Pray that God would give you a deep love for the truth and that He would help you to be like Jesus in truth-telling.

Meditate: Write this week’s memory verses on a white board in your home and/or on index cards that each family member can carry with them during the week.

Day 2 ~ Loving Good and Hating Evil

Read: Psalm 15, focus today on verses 3-4

Consider:

For Adults: What are the characteristics of one who walks in fellowship with God that are seen in these verses? Are these virtues increasing in your life? Could your fellowship with God be hindered by not keeping your word to others?

Older children: What could it mean to despise a vile person? What should our attitude be toward sinful behavior in ourselves and others?

Younger children: How should we talk about others? Can we hurt people by the things we say?

Family Application: Consider together how important our relationships with other people are to our relationship to God. If liars and promise-breakers do not dwell “on the hill of the Lord,” then what does that tell us about how God wants us to honor Him in our relationships with one another?

Pray: Pray through verses 3 -5 of Psalm 15. Praise God that He cares about people and how we treat one another. Pray that God would reveal to you any ways in which you have slandered others and ask Him to help you make amends if necessary. Ask God to help you to become more like Jesus in your faithfulness to Him and to others.

Meditate: See if anyone in the family can quote this week’s memory verse. Make new note cards of any of the cards from Day 1 that may have been lost.

Day 3 ~ Kindness towards others

Read: Psalm 15, focus today on verse 5

Consider:

For Adults: What does it mean to take a bribe against the innocent? Have you ever been tempted to take advantage of the weakness of another for personal gain?

Older children: What does God expect us to do with the blessings He gives us? How can we honor Him with our money?

Younger children: What is a bribe? Do bribes please God?

Family Application: Talk about how God has called Christians to help the weak by both sharing our blessings with them and by defending them from those who would take advantage of them. Consider together how important it is that laws protect the “innocent” and consider what Christians should do to support justice in their local governments.

Pray: Pray through verse 5 of Psalm 15. Praise God again for sending Christ to perfectly fulfill the righteousness that the law requires on the behalf of all of those who come to Him in repentance and faith. Ask God to grow the character of Christ in you in order that joy in God and your fellowship with Him will be ever increasing.

Meditate: See again if anyone in the family can quote this week’s memory verse. Talk about any ways that this verse has encouraged or taught you this week.

Beginning September 11, we will have a weekly brown bag lunch Bible study at the church in room 102 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.  We will use one of Elizabeth George’s Bible studies with Sarah Jones leading.  You can bring your lunch and drinks will be provided. We will begin promptly and end promptly, keeping our total time to one hour.  Hopefully, this will allow some of you working gals to come.

You will hear of other opportunities in the coming weeks. The study of God’s word is essential in pursuing intimacy with God above all else and in becoming the women God designed us to be.

G321:Music 2009

truth-for-the-trail-highlights

Truth for the Trail was presented on June 7, 2009 as ministry of Morninview’s G321 discipleship Program for Children.

G321 is program that seeks to help parents in growing Children into disciples of Christ through

1)  teaching Children the great truths of Historic Christianity through the memorization of the Catechim

2) teaching Children about the ongoing advance of the Gospel of Christ through the work of missionaries around the world and by

3) teaching Children the joy of knowing and worshipping the Great of God of Bible who offers full redemption freely in Christ for all those who believe upon His name.

We are especially thankful to all of G321 Leaders, Teachers and Workers for their selfless dedication to severing God through teaching, serving and loving children in such a Christ-like way.

Dear G321:Music Parents,

Our G321 Musical truth for the trail” is right around the corner and we want to make you aware of some important dates and facts.

Wednesday     6/3, 6:00pm to 7:30pm ~Dress Rehearsal number 1
Sunday         6/7, 3:30pm to 6:30pm ~  Dress Rehearsal 2 and Snack Dinner
Sunday         6/7, 6:30pm  ~ “Truth for the Trail” performance

Children in our 3&4  year old group will our “Camp Bugs.”  All our of “bug parts” will be made during G321, but the children will need to wear certain “base colors.”   Girls will need to come on 6/7 wearing red and yellow to be lady bugs.  Boys will need to come wearing black and brown to be spiders and ants.

Children K-6 will need to wear “Hiking/Camping” clothes.  You can be as creative as you like in picking out gear (compass, canteens and such) but please keep with closed-toed shoes.
