We will join Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Mobile to provide a top-notch camp both spiritually and physically. The location has already been selected and is Camp Baldwin in Elberta, Alabama. You can go to the web site by googling Camp Baldwin…it looks like so much fun! Be sure to mark on your calendar June 8th – 11th for this children’s ministry opportunity. Parents, I will be looking for chaperones. Since this is a Wednesday through Saturday it will be necessary for you to be away only three nights and four days. Registration for this camp will begin mid February. More information will soon be coming your way.
AWANA Theme Night: Team Spirit
Wednesday, November 17
The children will have the opportunity to support their favorite college before the big game! We would like for them to wear their favorite team colors instead of their uniform for this one night only. Awana will go on as usual with opening ceremony, handbook time, group time. They will be given the opportunity to show their team spirit during game time.
Go team!
Remember Awana will not meet the next week November 24th due to Thanksgiving.
Community Service Project for Children
Sign up your children to be a blessing to senior adults! Bring them to the church at 8:00 am and we will begin to make gift bags for our senior adults. Around 9:30 we will depart to deliver our bags to the shut-ins and other senior adults. We need adults to drive children in personal vehicles to each home or nursing home with at least 5 to 6 groups. Each group will go to multiple places. We will all return to the church by noon. **Permission slips will be sent to each child that signs up**
