Awana begins August 19th!
Another Awana Club Year is about to begin! Puggles and Cubbies (preschoolers) will go to the South Hall on the first floor to be checked-in and out at the security desk.
New this year, the Sparks and Truth in Training will meet in the Chapel with an opening ceremony and then go to their separate areas. At the conclusion of the evening, the Sparks and Truth in Training will be taken to Fellowship Hall for parents to pick-up.
Here are some reminders as we start off the 2009/2010 Awana year:
Awana begins August 19th at 6:00 p.m. sharp for all children and leaders. If this is your child’s first time in the club they have to complete a starter booklet to earn the privilege of wearing a uniform.
If your child has worked through the starter booklet and has a uniform, please have them attend in full uniform (buttoned-up for Cubbies and Sparks).
Your child should come each night with appropriate shoes for playing games (no flips, slides or Crocs).
Cubbies, Sparks and Truth in Training use their handbooks each Wednesday night without exception.
There will be a cost for handbooks and uniforms.
Please pray for Awana leadership as they work with our children throughout the year to memorize scripture.
