UIGHURS OF NORTHWEST CHINA (WEE-ghurs). Pray for A, a Uighur believer who has been under arrest for many months but who has not been brought to trial. Recently there have been indications that A’s treatment in prison has progressively deteriorated. There is fear for this believer’s life by the hand of prison authorities. People saw A being escorted to a hospital, at which time A called out to people there to contact A’s lawyer.
